THE VALLÉE DE LA CHIMIE TASK FORCE IS PILOTING THE TERRITORY’S MASTER PLAN UNTIL 2030. THIS PROJECT IS PART OF A PARTNERSHIP CHARTER INVOLVING 10 MAJOR INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES, THE PREFECTURE, THE AUVERGNE-RHONE-ALPES REGION AND FRANCE CHIMIE AUVERGNE-RHONE-ALPES, AND A MASTER PLAN DEVELOPED BY THE OMA/BASE/SUEZ CONSULTING CONSORTIUM.
ATTRACTING INNOVATIVE PROJECTS
The Lyon Vallée de la Chimie Task Force organized the “Appel des 30 !” in 2014, 2016 and 2018. This innovative call for projects brings together manufacturers, municipalities, public stakeholders, and technical and financial partners in offering public and private land as well as location solutions for cleantech idea champions.
The three editions of this exemplary partnership dynamic have actively contributed to the Vallée’s economic and territorial renewal.
POOLING ENERGY AND WASTE POTENTIAL
In 2017, public and private stakeholders launched VALDEN, a strategic, forward-looking partnership approach. Governed by a partnership charter, it aims to build a specific common vision in terms of energy (supply and production) and waste (collection, treatment and recovery).
Lyon Vallée de la Chimie is a territory at the forefront of industrial ecology concepts in France.
FACILITATING THE TERRITORY’S TRANSFORMATION
The future of Lyon Vallée de la Chimie is being written by all involved: companies, associations, employees and residents. The Vallée’s thirty largest employers (public/private) are united in the Association for the Sustainable Development of the Vallée de la Chimie, which facilitates the pooling of goods and services, as well as the sharing of best practices in environmental, social and economic matters.
